The Boulder Derby Party Benefits 501(c)(3) Front Range Hippotherapy

Front Range Hippotherapy (FRH) is an amazing organization that provides physical, occupational and speech therapy, using the horse as a therapeutic tool. Clients of all ages and ability benefit from being astride through strengthening, range of motion, improved speech and cognition. They have been in operation since 2006, and continue to grow every year, however running a non-profit that requires a herd of 10 horses as well as a specially trained team is unsustainable in the winter months, and they
need our help.

In the off-seasons, the client load drops due to weather conditions and holidays, but FRH still has fixed costs to feed and board the herd of horses so that they can always be ready to help the next client. In addition, this event will provide year-round scholarships to clients that cannot afford the cost of therapy that they need. Lastly, we hope to raise enough money that Front Range Hippotherapy can finally build an indoor arena that will enable them to treat clients all year long, without having to cancel sessions due to the wind, rain, snow and freezing weather. The proceeds from the Boulder Derby Party will allow FRH to continue to make an impact in the lives of their clients that depend on the movement of the horse to attain their physical, cognitive and emotional goals.
